NORTH AMERICA'S IDOL CONTEST & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Etobicoke, March 14, 2026 — In a remarkable display of musical excellence and community spirit, The Voice of Namma Toronto, organized by Namma Toronto TV, was successfully held at DC Music Studio. The event brought together aspiring singers, esteemed judges, and enthusiastic audiences for a day filled with melody, passion, and cultural pride.

The programme commenced on a serene and devotional note with a prayer rendered by judges Smt. Namratha Prasad, Smt. Ranjana Hegde, and Sri Pavan D Rao, setting a graceful tone for the event. Elevating the moment further, Mahaguru Pt. Vinayak Hegde addressed the gathering, inspiring contestants with his encouraging words and extending heartfelt best wishes to all participants.

Spanning from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the event unfolded through a series of captivating performances that kept the audience engaged throughout. Each round showcased exceptional musical talent, reflecting both dedication and artistic expression from the contestants.

The competition witnessed an overwhelming response, receiving 75 registrations from across Canada and the United States. After a careful screening process, 35 talented contestants were selected to perform live. Participants represented cities such as Calgary and Ottawa, while a few also joined virtually, adding a broader dimension to the event.

Designed to be inclusive, the competition featured four categories—Junior, Youth, Adult, and Senior Adult—allowing participants from diverse age groups to shine. Each category demonstrated a high standard of performance, making the competition both engaging and inspiring.

The semifinal round was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Pt. Vinayak Hegde, Ranjana Hegde, Namratha Prasad, and Pavan D Rao. Their expert evaluations and constructive feedback played a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the competition.
