Praveen’s global footprint includes composing and performing for “Motherland,” a landmark musical commemorating the 200th year of the Abolition of Slavery Act, in collaboration with Eugene Skeef and Jatinder Verma. For this work, he received the PRS Award for New Creations from the British Arts Council.

He was commissioned by Sampad, UK, to compose music for “Moving Earth,” a grand choreography featuring 240 dancers during the London Cultural Olympiad alongside the 2012 Summer Olympics.

His major productions with Chitraleka Dance Company — including “Story of C,” “Stardust to Light,” “Kaishiki,” and “Panchatantra” — toured extensively across the UK and India. He also served as Scriptwriter, Stage Director, and Composer for “Tears of Fire,” a nationally touring UK dance and physical theatre production.

In Canada, he composed for “Taj,” which premiered at the Luminato Festival in 2011 and toured nationally in 2013. His long-standing collaboration with Sampradaya Dance Creations has resulted in celebrated productions such as “Vivarta,” “Shunya,” “Howzzat,” “Pralaya,” “Sankhya,” and “Mandala.”

He was also commissioned to compose an Indian music score as a prelude to Gustav Holst’s opera “Savitri,” performed by the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
