INSIDE THE STUDIO: Chinthana Manthana Session

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the Namma Toronto TV Studio at the Etobicoke Civic Centre was buzzing with incredible energy. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, our core team, technical crew, and esteemed panel of judges gathered for a vital, four-hour Chinthana Manthana (brainstorming and review) session. The team sat down to celebrate the massive success of The Voice of Namma Toronto Music Festival & Idol Contest Semifinals, dissect the team’s massive behind-the-scenes efforts, and map out the blueprint for our highly anticipated Grand Finale.

A Meeting of Musical Minds

We were incredibly honored to have our entire stellar judging panel under one roof for this Chinthana Manthana to review the contestant performances, analyze the preparation metrics, and share their expert insights. The meeting room was filled with the collective wisdom of Pt. Vinayak Hegde, Vid. Sandhya Srivatsan, Ranjana Hegde, Namratha Prasad, and Pavan Rao.

The judges did not just talk about scores; they focused heavily on long-term mentorship. A major part of the discussion revolved around post-event encouragement, specifically how we can continue to guide and support all contestants even after the competition wraps up, ensuring that this platform serves as a permanent stepping stone for their musical journeys in Canada.

Guided by Vision: Growing Our Roots Together

The session was led by the guiding pillars of our channel, Chairperson Smt. Prajna Jain and core leader Mr. Rathan Kotekar. They realigned the team with (https://nammatoronto.com/ ) Namma Toronto TV’s ultimate mission, which is bringing the Karnataka community together through the universal language of music.

This festival is about more than finding a winner. It is a dedicated effort to preserve, celebrate, and grow Karnataka’s rich linguistic heritage in the diaspora. Through our upcoming events, we are fiercely committed to promoting the beautiful regional languages of our home state—Kannada, Tulu, and Konkani—ensuring they thrive across generations here in Canada.

Next Stop: The Grand Finale & Music Festival

The second half of the Chinthana Manthana was pure forward momentum. The team finalized logistical details, stage production upgrades, and community outreach strategies for the upcoming Grand Finale and Music Festival. We are pulling out all the stops to make this a landmark cultural celebration.
